Such crap ...Tom Pidcock is a lovely guy

I love the Shark but in cycling ability Pidcock is super
MTB and Cycle cross world and Olympic champion
First GT he wins on Alp D'Heuz and can descend like no one
And he hasn't even concentrated on road racing yet

You know nothing about class
Obviously, you know little about Class. Typical Anglo/Sky fan :(

How much did he lose? 40 seconds? Pff. They know how to make up for it.

So, last night an another interesting edition of LaSqualo TV with Nibali, Pozzo, young Tiberi and surprise surprise, none other than Patrick Lefevere (speaking Italian while driving at night with the interior lights on).

It's quite nice to see Vincenzo relaxed, funny, talking a lot and in good spirits. Let's see if the mood remains the same after this hard week in Vuelta. Next Monday they promised a guest who has won all three GTs like Nibali but we have to guess who that is. There's four of them left beside Vincenzo.

On another note he is not convinced yet what to do, general classification or stage hunting. I guess this week will give some answers.

Nibali, Contador, Basso, Pozzo live on twitch right now

Seen it. As usual some nice talk between the greats, Contador had to leave early. Basso is talking like a team boss that he is and of course they touched the 2010 Giro. Nibali was supposed to ride the Tour and was "on the beach" when he got the call to come and help Basso. Nice memories, making fun of Basso's descending and remembering Scarponi.

Basso says nowadays you can't go in a race if not at 100%, even for less important ones. You can't ride into shape, it will only bring tiredness and pain. Preparation has become very important. Contador remembered that in the old days there were just a few teams on Teide, at one point before Tour 2014 there were Nibali, Froome and Contador during the same time. Now you have to book a training camp there with more than a year in advance.

Pozzo and Nibs say this Vuelta is very fast, it drains you. In the old days there were maybe the last two hours when things got heated. Nibali is not in a good shape, same with Pozzo who got wrecked by Covid in the summer.

20 years ago, Junior Worlds ITT.

Today, Vuelta, last professional ITT

Basso is a lot more interesting now as a team manager than he was back then. The relationship with Contador in Eolo is going great, they would like to go WT at one point but it's not an obsession for them and they wouldn't have the budget atm.

Nibali didn't sound very optimistic about his Vuelta but he was in good spirits anyway.

Muy funny show tonight on Twitch with a special guest star.

Apparently Froomey doesn't know what meme is, so he was enlightened.

It was also revealed the mystery of Nibali's disappearance from the break at some point. He crashed. Another hint, Nibali says Roglic wins the Vuelta.

The only time we've seen him in the Vuelta is at the off ramp for the ITT and in the break for a little while the other day. Hopefully he does Something before this race is over. It's his final GT! Don't ninja it, Vincenzo!
Any news on how his legs feel or if he plans another break attempt?

Feeling better, he was fighting big time to get in that break and pull away with a few other riders until they were caught by the larger break that was formed. The plan remains the same, try a stage win.

Yes he worked hard to get into and while in the break. Gave me a bit of hope!

Ma quando dice che avrebbe vinto quell Tour anche con Froome e Contador ancora concorrenti, mi viene da ridere. Ma forse il pavé gli avrebbe salvato, ma non con Froome ancora in gara.
