People forget too quickly that he finished second in a Grand Tour just 2 months ago while being stronger than all the other favorites. Carapaz was a favorite from the start?

This is clearly referring to Nibali doing better than Dumoulin, Roglic, Yates and MAL while before the race he was considered a huge underdog vs those guys.

Never said that, read my post. Carapaz was not a favorite.
 
Thank f*cking god, this really salvaged his tour. Still annoyed they didn't let him stagehunt in the first place. Pretty sure he would have been unbeatable in the polka dots competition.

Also, anyone know if he is riding san Sebastian? Cause I really think he should

Dont know. Supercompensation after a double is a bit different but he has taken a few nice recovery rides in the gruppetto
