Dunno, Kelderman is also more than 2 minutes up in GC, don't really see a change of heart at a Sunweb that is famous for sacrificing its riders' personal ambitions for the sake of the team.

Now, if Wilco cracks... that would make for a very interesting race.

So the next two mountain stages are 203 and 207 km. Then a 253km flat before the final Agnello-stage is 198 km. In the third week. This is gonna hurt.

Most consistent wins.

Those who has looked the best or in lead right now can easily crack. If you run out of gas, you are done on these stages.

The hype train is bag on track. Slongo:

"With a good action, done well, the Giro d'Italia 2020 can be overturned. Vincenzo wants to do it, he is not satisfied. A stage and the podium, no, we would not sign. Vincenzo wants to win the Giro. And we still have the chances to make it. It is not easy, but it is not impossible".

I can't get myself hyped for the Return of the Shark though. I was re-watching stage 20 of Giro 2016 and he was awesome but with a lot of support from Kangert and Scarponi. The lack of team is what worries me the most.

I guess it's all in on Stelvio, if what I suspect about stage 20 is really happening.
Very small chances in this case.

Do you guys think anything will happen tomorrow? Final ascent is "easy" but after so much climbing Nibali should have the edge (if he doesn't then it's all over). It may not be as tough as the Stelvio/Agnello stages but let's be honest, he needs to jump at every chance he can get.

They should have a 50km climb so that Nibali could drop them all with rain and thunders. The master of puppets should be ridding the lightning to "kill" them all.

Perhaps Nibali will prayer to lord St Anger this week so that his bag gets its holes fixed, load and reload his stamina, and wins his final GC.

PS: yeah, that was too much Metallica

As soon as Nibali seeks and destroys them on those climbs, the bell will ring for Kelderman and Almeida will fade to black. Is he evil? people shall wonder about him. But he'll still have won, nothing else matters. And when we are with him in front of the Duomo, to see him wear that sweet pink jersey, we will smile and whisper: welcome home.

He'll turn the page, show them what kind of monster he is, spit our their bones and be the king of the day. There's whiskey in the bag.
