I guess that's why Froome/Sky threads are in the 1000's of posts.

Anyway, they should rethink their doping strategy, beated by a 42y is quite sad. Vino lost his touch or his Lance era methods are not so good anymore.

He ****ed up his training, because the lay off after the Giro was too long and he had too many Astana trips. That you loose doesn't mean always that you have to find better dope

Still waiting for the Nibali positive from the Giro.

But seeing how Nibali was towed by cars and protected by officials in WC Firenze i guess it's low chance to get a positive on the italian hero in the home GT.

Small fish like Santambrogio are ok to be offered to the dope god though.

Sky and related threads are long because their fans refuse to believe the obvious and post defensively and extensively.

It was the same with the legion of minions for Armstrong. Same pattern of 'never tested positive'.....yadayada.

No long threads on Gilbert, JRod, Piti, Nibali, Schlecks, etc..

In Froome's case it is Balharzia was holding him back from being the greatest cyclist since LeMond.

Nibali was seen in the company of Ferrari. End of discussion.

How can you possibly be so sure Nibali is a doper while rabidly defending Froome?

I am sure there are forums in Italy and Spain like the Clinic. I have said this many times, that we cant possibly comment on Valverde, Nibali, El PurEPO, Costa etc. because we cant follow whats being said or discussed in their media.

El Clinico?

You'd be surprised. At Parlamento Ciclista, for example, there's a large group of people (perhaps even a majority) who think Purito is one of the biggest superchargers in the peloton, while most of the others think that his career has been logical and therefore that he's a normal doper (but still a doper).

Sure, there's plenty of fans who live in lala land. Most of them aren't the hardcore type who participate in forums.

Why do you think Nibali is doping? He has passed over 1000 tests, Astana have a revolutionary approach to training, and he has never climbed faster than 6.0w/kg. He also had a tailwind in the giro.

How can someone this serious to improving possibly be doping?

Indeed parlamento seems to have a very clinicish way of thinking overall and doesn't really protect spanish riders all that much. Mind you i only lurk as i don't trust my spanish enough to actively post, so my interpretation could be wrong.

It's funny how riders and journalists dismiss forums as the home of lunatics...reality is that forum types know a good bit...and in a lot of cases know far more than the journalists.

Yep, people that participate on forums usually pay attention to every detail of the forum subject and the fact that forum members don't have to please sponsors or publishers usually means they can do some serious brainstorming and reach conclusions journalists simply can't.

The fact, and yes it is a cold hard fact, that the clinic has been proven right time and time again shows it.

Bingo, hit the nail on the head sceptic, there's no way Nibali can be doping. I also here heading into his Giro win he employed a number of revolutionary training tips giving him a lot of small gains that added up quickly.

It really works I can tell you that. The last couple of months before i went riding up the Alpe d'huez I stoped eating chips and drinking coca cola. I lost like 4kg. Small stuff like that is genious. Wonder why there is only Sky and Nibali that does it?

I can understand your love for Froome as expressed countless times on every possible thread on this forum which probably is the reason why you are in denial that his blatant overnight transformation from a bottle carrier to a potential new Lance is fueled by a clever doping program. What I don't understand is your hate towards Nibali. Maybe you think he will outdope Froome and snatch the TdF next year?

He'd better not be warming down. Or receiving data from his training.

That's patented for Sky.

Did it matter? Horner went into the vuelta loaded on the foods you sacrificed- chips and coca cola, and still beat Nibali.

Plus, he can't go too far with that wire attached to him.

Ill be honest, by my standards, i made a troll post but i can chuckle from time to time considering is free season for troll threads.

If the same immense amount of pointless drivels would be thrown at Nibali/Astana i would defend him to.

The only point that stands is that the italian officials proved they are willing to cover up Nibali, compared to france ones that seems to be happy throwing french riders under the bus.

Dude, the only reason "immense amounts of pointless drivel(s)" are not thrown at Nibali/Astana is simply because basically everyone is in agreement that he/they are doping. Thus not much discussion. I suggest you take up Nibali's defense with the same mindless enthusiasm that you have directed towards Froome's defense, maybe then you will be happy when everyone responds and slams Nibali as a doper as well.
You really don't see a difference between:

<Nibali dopes, he has connections with Ferrari etc. Rides for Astana for Vino, no way he's clean.>

<yup>

<true that>

<hard to argue with that>

<crickets>

AND:

<Froome dopes, came from no where, Leinders, marginal gains is a euphemism, etc.>

CUE: A veritable s#it storm of arguments the majority of which sound like they were lifted straight from the Lance Fan Playbook.

Come on, really?

:p

Sean Kelly talks about the preparation and importance that Jean de Gribaldy placed on what his riders ate and their diets. That was in the 80s. That teams talk about now is a smokescreen.
