This (already legendary) rivalry is very modest in terms of volume: 1 or 2 races per season. Hopefully June and July will bring a lot of quality to compensate for low quantity.

It was in Vingegaard's best interest not to ride. It's extremely boring, and I didn't like it, but that's his choice. Some people ride with big balls, and others don't.

Definitely, he shouldn't have ridden there. But I get how it was frustrating.

Lol. Vinge has done plenty of long range attacks. Pogacar has small balls too for sitting in Vinge's wheel for 50 km in the 2023 Tourmalet stage then.

Pogacar has always been a cocky and arrogant, and some people like that, and thats what it is. Other people like myself like humble and quieter people like Jonas.

If every rider is going to say "*** you man" each time another rider doesn't ride with him, then there will be a lot of "*** you man" in every race of cycling.

It is not illegal to not ride when others riders want. It was his choice, and it was also very understandable when the preparation for the Tour wasn't that great, and when it was clear looking at his body, that he had way less muscle mass. It wouldn't good for him to push on that stage.

Unsportsmanlike and disrespectful behavior from Pogi!!!:rage::unamused: Jonas would NEVER shout such words at Pogi. I have lost the respect I had for Pogi. He is the Badger 100 times worse! He is definitely the world's best cyclist, but that is completely overshadowed by what a sportsman he really is when it comes down to it......... And it's not the first time it's happened either.....he also spoke badly about Wout Van Art to Adam Yates at the Tour de France in 2023.... But as soon as he is aware of the camera and a microphone he plays the jovial innocent boy scout who just loves to cycle:rage::rage:

Don't forget how he confidentially told Remco that there was no reason to worry about Roglic on GC in last year's Tour.

But a hundred times worse than Hinault, no less? Why not just 60 times worse?

where I live, you use that phrase with that number when something happens or is right, very many times

It was a joke, as a reference to Evenepoel's post-race interview that day.

In the trailer for the last Netflix season of Unchained, you can see Pog yell "F*ck you, man!" at Vingegaard in the Troyes stage because the latter didn't want to pull with him and Remco. Not very polite. Not much love lost between those two, even if Vingegaard has recently stated that he's glad to have a rival like Tadej.

Ready for chapter 5 this summer!
It was such a beautiful example of long-range defense!

The needle is fine, it's more entertaining when things get a bit heated anyway.

Perhaps they were just frustrated, but if him and Evenepoel really don't understand why Vingegaard shouldn't pull in that situation then they are staggeringly dimwitted. Day 1 week 1 of cycling school.

Controversy erupts as Evenepoel and Pogacar take jab at Roglic: "You shouldn't be afraid of him"

"Evenepoel seemed to make a good move in the general classification on Wednesday, finishing just 25 seconds behind Jonas Vingegaard and Pogacar and gaining another half a minute on Roglic. Roglic had slipped and fell in the last kilometer, but the jury applied the three-kilometer rule, giving him the same time.
"Those rules are part of racing, no problem," Evenepoel told Sporza. However, behind the podium, he showed more emotion when talking to Pogacar. "It was half a minute, that's quite a lot," we hear him say in recorded footage. Pogacar then leans in and whispers to his friend. "You shouldn't be afraid of him," said the yellow jersey wearer"

This is how pogacar is "respectfull" for his rivals. He also talked not nice things from WVA.

He pretends to be someone who he really isn't in terms of sportmanship and being a example.

Some people ride with tiny brains, and others don't.

It had nothing to do with balls.
Exactly. They both acted like unintelligent, entitled brats that day. So basically very normal behavior for young sports superstars.

This is normal trash talking in the middle of a race. Or you guys think the other riders don't talk s*** in the peloton?
In fact I want to see this trash talking from Vingegaard as well. I don't like his robotic nature.
I find the comment Pogacar made to Remco about Roglic more disrespectful than some bad words in the middle of a race.
