I know that this thread has the most enthusiastic group of English-speaking Vino supporters on the planet, and so I want to ask for your help. I contribute to wikipedia to indulge my love of writing, and in the past week I understandably invested a lot of time into building out the Vino article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Vinokourov
All was fine until some jag-off showed up there (probably from around here) and started undoing many of my edits based on the totally dubious and subjective claim (on his part) that he didn't like my style of writing! Argh! There's so much work still to do on the article (as far as adding in information) and some dooshinator is actually "undoing" work that I've done and stripping down the article, rather than adding to it!
So my request is that you all become editors/contributors at wikipedia if you're not already, and help me (however it has to be done) to protect the contributions I've made there in an appropriate style of writing and fight-off the hater.
I'm not sure how to do it other than to "undo" his "undoing" of my edits, but I'm sure together we can all figure it out.
And this isn't something that will take much time on your part. Where your help will be valuable is in the talk/discussion that is in the background of the article - there's a separate "talk" page where such changes can be discussed and if I can muster a committed group that shifts the consensus in favor of the style of writing I used to build-out Vino's page, then one single editor can't justly undo my work.
Thanks...
