Only if there's a lot of snow tomorrow. I don't really expect a super aggressive stage but there will be gaps.

The question is how many minutes will Wilco put into the others.

Cunego for the win.

Don't even joke about that. Otherwise tomorrow we'll have to hear people on here moan about the over-hyping of said rider if he doesn't deliver, displaying - once more - their absolute inability to discern a tongue-in-cheek remark from a serious one. He was the best Rabo rider for the day though so I hope he can at least keep up the positive trend.

Cunego seemed to be strong today. Maybe he is starting to find form again. If valv isnt hurt from the crash then ill pick him though.

Dan Martin says he can actually win the overall this week. So I'm sure he'll be aggressive in tomorrow's stage to pull back time from Albasini.

I cant see them using this route - the weather is aweful.

If it remains unchanged, Dan Martin.

It will be terrible if they have to cut out the real climbing because of the weather. This is the biggest day for the climbers so far this season and we have a really good field.

Given the existing conditions and the forecast,

I can't see them tackling the entire climb.
It would be nice to have an idea of their contingency plan...........if indeed one has been formed.
Since the bottom half of the climb is the toughest, maybe they can climb to the 1450 metre mark. Should be enough to detach Albasini.

unfortunately you can't bet on stages in this race in betfair. after seeing quintana today he will win for sure tomorrow. he's also not dangerous for gc anymore

Your eternal unfounded optimism never fails to amuse me.

People who are predicting Samu winning should know he got dropped on the climb yesterday and got back on the way down. He usually does absolutely nothing in the races he doesnt specifically target (Pais Vasco / Ardennes / Tdf or Vuelta / Lombardia)

Ill go with Ryder to win on a shortened climb we wont see a **** of on TV because the coverage has been very bad even with decent weather.

Albasini is quoted on the GreenEdge website as saying how he suffered on the final climb yesterday, so i think it is fair to assume he will lose the lead today. The snow may help him, but no matter, great WT event for GreenEdge anyway.

Biciciclismo doesn't mention anything about possible route changes. Looks like they're just getting on as planned.
Crash with Basso, Rabon, Jeanneson, Dean, Vanotti, Pardilla.
Dean and Rabon are out.
Horrach, Valverde, Moreno, Niermann and Navarro did not start.
