Carrara, Dyachenko, Kruijswijk and Cherel was in the front group yesterday
Ignatenko +51
Rohregger +51
Tschopp +1:49
Soerensen +2:23
Bardet +2:23
Kritskiy +6:51
Golas +6:51
Vandevelde +8:23

Very strong break and not many teams in peleton will be interested in chase. Sky and Movistar are down to six guys and other teams have someone in the break. Time for GreenEdge to show their strength in mountains ;)

Weird from Quickstep - Can Golas climb as well as sprint? If not he's a pretty pointless person to try and point at and claim they don't have to work.

He's ok on hills but yes, hes climbing is quite bad. All in all QS will have to work on the last climb i guess.

And the Astana rider is Brajkovic not Dyachenko.

The way Levi had them riding yesterday other teams should call their bluff. Levi is up for this big time.

These guys aren't really the strongest riders in the race though. Carrara probably the strongest from this break.

Only if the snow gifts it him. On that final climb he'll be dropped with minimum 5km to go and finish comfortably down. Much worse if they race hard from the bottom.

Quintana actually has a special pedalling style which means he rides even quicker on snow than tarmac.

his special style also allows him to fly when no camera's ware watching

yes of course. again nothing is said ever about the stage being canceled or altered.
If the organizers aren't allowed through on the final kilometers of Port-Ainé, it will be pretty difficult to have a finish line there...

British Eurosport were speculating about todays stage being changed yesterday so its not simply something that has been picked out of thin air by forum contributors.
