I want to know what happened in THIS race, not the other race. If I wanted to know what happened in the Crit.Int., I'd look at that thread. Not spoiling race results in other OFF-TOPIC threads is a rule we've had on this forum for years now. People have been asked in the past to be mindful of such things.

Nah, it's that, weirdly, "Bacalao!" can be used as a cry of celebration. It's mostly an Athletic Bilbao thing.

They must get really excited when they sail up to the Cornish coast and nick our fish.

As far as I can remember, it is not usual that people post results of other races in a thread. I too was upset when I read the criterium result. I quite don't understand why people is suddenly so aggresive about that issue. Has this non written rule changed?

That's my memory too. Perhaps people are being aggressive because it was brought up aggressively? I dunno, I brought up the same issue a few months ago and nobody called me a tool or a muppet...

Exactly. It's not a crime to use ones brain. Two threads with two different races. Read the last comments in the thread, see if the race is over and then post results. Jesus, how should we discuss races live if we can 'just stay away'? It's ridiculous. Common sense.

Well, at least Samu has got second on time sorted.........cheeky sod!
Yeah, it's that easy... but everyone wanted to do this, only one guy managed to, so I guess he's still got some of those bike handling skills he used to be known for ;)

As for the Criterium results: will there be a live relay or something, otherwise I don't see the problem?

Yeah, definitely not a problem for this specific race, since there was no video anyway, so it's not like we can download or watch highlights later. I did my best to build some kind of suspenseful narrative for Criterium, but reading the thread of people describing sporadic info from twitter was not very gripping.

More generally, fwiw, I do like to follow the thread for one race and then try to watch a simultaneous race later, so I appreciate when people make an effort to not 'spoil', for sure.

I did not know there was a rule about spoilers. Thanks.

I think the real problem is that the Criterium thread has the WRONG dates.

So I come into rhis thread thinkinbg there were no other races and hear Criterium actually began on the 24th and not on the 25th as said in the thread and the results are spoiled :(

I know acf lives in Ausland where they live in different times and stuff but the race takes place in France and not Australia so the date of the race is the 24th and 25th, not 25th -26th
:(

Anyway I won't let that frustrating turn of events spoil the brilliant Samu performance.

I hope hes getting some fans here. Hes been critisced for not attacking enough and for in recent years focusing mainly on the Tour.

Well here he is, 3 stages in a row, animating the race on any roadbump he can find.

And the best bit is he enjoys every win just the same. Look at the reaction, means the world to him.
