I'm all for criticising the organisers for their mistakes, but this isn't their fault.

Strikes must be announced in advance so the organizers must have known this for a while, and should have found a solution.

they sold the rights to show the race to several channels and at the moment those channels have paid for something they won't be getting.

The lead group now has 4:20 on the peloton after Valverde's crash.

Could be hard to bring back. Sky need to get to work.

It looks like this was a last-minute strike, not announced in advance.

is that even legal?

I'm not sure, but after all Catalonia is (still) Spain...

Let's hope I'm wrong about this and we do get images, but I'm not holding my breath.

Most exciting 15 minutes of the day.

Sky need to take control of this and go ballistic from the start of the climb, the only way to drop Purito.

Sometimes it is I think, it depends... I don't know Catalan law or the back story here but I think in some countries when a certain number of negociations have failed then you can do it. Happened with Lufthansa last summer IINM

You were assuming I was swearing on those nice Spanish people?

I would never do that.

Viva Espana, lets pump more Euro's in that country.

But, perhaps we will see footage and I will look like a fool :D

Robbie Ruigh for the win!
