Don't worry, tomorrow Purito will crush Martin on Montjuïc. Today doesn't look like a stage suited for gaining time.

Not saying Rodriguez won't be able to do it but surely letting the guy ahead of you on GC get 7sec without a fight is a dangerous game to play right?

Yes, dropped on Vallter 2000, but climbing with the same speed as Quintana and Purito the day after, demolishing the breakaway by riding the whole final climb on the front. He's improved very rapidly during the race. I wonder if he targets the Giro or Tour this year, he could surprise many if he's improved yet again.

catalunya is basically the race in which he feels the best. that's absolutely no surprise he's strong.also undeniable talent
i'm not sure though that purito really should go all-in here. he has other,bigger objectives this year.
