Seems like it was a good stage to bad I didnt watch hence why im asking. Was Jonas not helping when they was alone?
Yes, because it was "logical" that he didn't. But I hate logic in such circumstances. But I'm thinking of the Hinault era.

Missed a banger it seems. Busy with my soon to be one year old. Already aiming for Pog so we had scheduled in some intervals and zone 2 today at the mall looking for girls and eating snacks while waiting for mom.

Sorry what kinda losers logic is that? how would it not up jonas probability to win the stage alone with Remco even if Remcos the favorite?

But sounds like he did ride with him some, so you cant really fault him then if Remco just worked more, since he’s also more incentivized

It's the pre-Pogacar logic, where expending excess energy on Day 1 affects Day 2-4.

I enjoyed the attack but there wasn't much time to be gained on 25km of flat road vs full peloton, maybe 20s if Vingegaard had totally committed from the start. And in return you've done a two man time trial for 25km. There was probably more to be gained by going all out vs Almeida, with Red Bull and Visma co-operating.

Remco is a genius , so much more fun to follow than booring Pogi. A true antihero to the boy scout no one could ever had predicted this.
I didn't watch the race, but did watch the video posted and I don't really get anything posted about bold, dumb, cowardice, cooperation.. All I saw was the world's best time trialist racing to his strengths, got a gap and tried TT to a win, spaced out and crashed.
It happens but certainly nothing stupid about being a great time trialist and trying to challenge everyone else to be as good as you.
The video shows 3-4 k to go the pack is mushroom shaped and chase doesn't look very organized. Even though it didn't work it was a great move..
