Aru always seems to opt for a more quiet season start compared to the likes of Froome, Contador and Quintana. So his first little peak in fact really might be for Basque Country! So we shouldn't except much for Paris - Nice as well!?

I wasn't watching live, so I just realized that Ion Izagirre had a crash during his TT. I think he would have smoked everyone - he was still only 38 seconds off.

Izagirre was off his bike for 30 seconds.
