In the end a deserving victory for João. He was by far the strongest on the climbs and should have won the race on Torre if not for despicable W52 tactics there. W52 were weaker than ever and still get 4 of the 5 spots in the top 5.

Joni rode a great race and did really well in the TTs, but Rodrigues was just the strongest rider, despite questionable team tactics on the Torre stage.
A deserving winner and he was able to climb with some great WT climbers in Algarve.
