Well O Gran Camino next week starts with a similar ITT. We can see how Vingegaard's form is.

He is going to lose against tarling, but no worries, he will beat everybody on 21 july 2024 with just 58 kg.

We’re just throwing numbers around, but you’re patrolling the exactitude of each statement. The original post about forum members ITT times was just poking at the riders who came in over the time limit. Is that who you’re defending?
Um, exactly what I started with... for fun... to the one I was responding to. This course being key.

You think I was being serious is hilarious. Get a grip.

You are weird for this post.

I could be wrong —I took your “not on this course” and “not on rolling terrain” (paraphrase) as simple naysaying without even bothering to give some basis for why. sorry if I missed something.

I was doing a fun thought experiment—seeing if I might extrapolate from MPH I could ride in the old bike touring days, when I knew the Cat 4 racers I sometimes joined on club rides were waaay faster than I was. It seems there are many posters here who do or did race at higher levels so I concluded I think someone from this forum could match the OTL time.

That’s just how I entertain myself—and I’m guessing you typically think I’m weird . And I will probably typically think you’re overly defensive given your response.

Yeah, you are really fun and you are the only one being defensive.

I don't personally love what a long TTT does for the race. Love a prologue. For me a short prologue, short TTT of 25k, long TT of 50k, and a MTT of 25k would be ideal.

I like the very long TTT as teams are forced to decide between a train of mountain doms, a TT heavy team, or some balance between the two.

Adds an element of strategy in team selection that has been missing in recent years. Doms for the most part today only need to climb well
