Couple of weeks back, some thought it was already banned but apparently a grey area was being exploited so they banned it explicitly.I'm out of the loop I guess, when did it get banned?

He did altitude in the last years before O Gran camino. This year he was in Mallorca before Volta ao Algarve. He has won Gran Camino in February in the past. Although that didn't have Roglic/Almeida level opposition.
Also won Tirreno in March.
Great strategy, stay at base level for the spring and keep relaxed, no altitude camps, he's bluffing UAE, gonna blow them all away in July after going to Teide + tignesHe did altitude in the last years before O Gran camino. This year he was in Mallorca before Volta ao Algarve.
The opposition in O Gran Camino last year wasn't worse than the opposition he had today.
He is not like Pogacar but man, he is explosive.Don't know why people are surprised, Vingegaard doesn't have an explosive acceleration that instantly splits open gaps. He prefers longer and steeper climbs, attrition style climbs.
Lenny Martinez and Egan Bernal were 2 and 3 in Gran Camino last year. Surely thats worse opposition than Almeida today. He did altitude in the last years before O Gran camino. This year he was in Mallorca before Volta ao Algarve.

Dude, he was beaten by Antonio Morgado.
If Pogacar's performance, compared to Vine wasn't good for you what about this?
Both washed it seems
But this grey area wasn't being exploited by Visma, assuming they're the "they" you're referring to. And even if it was, this doesn't account for last year, which wasn't great either.Couple of weeks back, some thought it was already banned but apparently a grey area was being exploited so they banned it explicitly.
Yes, it was a poor performance today.Dude, he was beaten by Antonio Morgado.

Maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way.Maybe the real nutrition and training properly was just them getting in on the carbon monoxide rebreathers before everyone else. Now they're banned.
Does washed also mean clean? And does not washed mean dirty?Yet, Roglic still lost to that Vingegaard.
One out-washing the other washed.
I would for one reason. Vingegaard was so much better than others in previous years (in any type of hilly or mountain stage). He lost to 3 UAE, specially Almeida who is terrible in this type of climb. I think it is his worst performance since he is a GT winner.Would not read too much in one stage. Bigger goals ahead. Surprised in podium today anyway.
Last year Tirreno?Very wise. Vingegaard is doing a Nibali style superpeak, as he always does. I've personally never seen Jonas in good shape in Feb/March

You also have to take into account how the stage went, of course. He didn't lose to those three UAE guys on merit, probably could have beaten at least two of them if it was about who was strongest on the day.I would for one reason. That boy has 0 dynamite in his legsYou also have to take into account how the stage went, of course. He didn't lose to those three UAE guys on merit, probably could have beaten at least two of them if it was about who was strongest on the day.
It's more worrying that he wasn't really able to open any sort of gap when attacking, he should be able to. Maybe not on Roglic, but certainly on the rest.
Don’t really know much about Morgado’s TT skills but Roglic and Vingegaard should beat him. Almeida is in prime position for the GC victory. Christen may hold on to a podium. He has a good TT but all depends on how he looks on the Malhao part of the TT.Unusually surprising result and relative strengths here. UAE look very good for GC, they could even sweep the podium?
Yes, but it is Vingegaard. His base level is/was enough to beat any rider in the world (excluding Pogacar and Roglic)He wasn't on altitude this time. Probably just different approach to building up for his real goals in 2025.
He does, if he's good. Right now he clearly is not. That boy has 0 dynamite in his legs

Morgado is good in TTs. Of course he is young and probably not good enough to beat Jonas or PrimozDon’t really know much about Morgado’s TT skills but Roglic and Vingegaard should beat him.
