Why Quintana?????
Really bad collapse from him again. I am not really into the new GC Ciccone.Has Ciccone finished yet. Disappeared completely in that last 3K.

The other one was a geniune typo.
Almida will win the GC on the last stage. Nothing on the next 2Can we expect any GC action the next two stages or will everything be decided on the last stage?

Yeah good point. Nairo has the experience but Almieda has the team strength on numbersDepends on the wind, I guess.

Was always a really attacking rider that I used to like a lot. But now he never attacks because he focuses on GCs, but the results have gotten worse.
Hopefully he either rides a very good Giro (which he would have done last year) or goes back to being an attacking rider.
Assuming no wind (terrain isn't too exposed) probably limited to battles for bonus seconds at most, although Saturday's stage may be suited to an ambush attack as the central part of the stage is constantly up and down on roads that are often narrow and twisty. And by central part I mean everything but the first 30 and final 20 kilometres. Can we expect any GC action the next two stages or will everything be decided on the last stage?
I don't know what happened to him today but there's a chance he dropped time on purpose after realizing he was not good enough so he'll be able to join a break later in the race.Yes, he was looking pretty good at both Giro and Vuelta last year till he was forced to quit both. Trek are obviously banking on him to avoid any similar bad luck this year, as they haven't got any one else who GTs except for Mollema.
Spectacular collapse by him today. Finishing with riders who were dropped 5K earlier. He's only got a couple of The Ardennes races planned before the Giro, so they'll need to change his schedule I'd imagine. For his confidence if nothing else.
they do, but it's of course also a bit easier to peak for single big goals others mainly use as preparationUno-X certainly show they deserve to keep getting invites to big races.
Apparently he's doing a slow built-up because he's gonna ride Giro-Tour, at least I'm hoping that this is the reason for his results until now.Really bad collapse from him again. I am not really into the new GC Ciccone.

I do t get why folks seem so surprised, there are times Nairo is intent on attacking and then are (more) times he’s clearly not. With the gradient today he wasn’t going to gain a huge chunk attacking, though of course zi too would have liked to see him push a little longer when he did attack. He clearly wasn’t in best form at the end of P-N, so he’s not going to go all in and collapse, which he is vulnerable to.I love Quintana but he doesn't deserve to win this race really. Elbow flicking Almida and waiting for a sprint. Lol
It will be decided on a sprint the last stage!!Can we expect any GC action the next two stages or will everything be decided on the last stage?
