Honestly, I haven't seen enough from Van Wilder in the high mountains to have an actual opinion about his potential as a gc rider. I assume that he's more of a diesel climber, but please correct me If I'm wrong.

Was reading the teams are really struggling to fill all their rider spaces. I think Jumbo & Bora even started one man short due to so many riders ill at the moment.

Interesting to see Jumbo showing so much confidence in Kruijswijk this week, considering that he hasn't shown much in a while, and the route doesn't really suit him much. Maybe he can still be a bit of a surprise
