Wonder how Plapp will fare. The route should suit him, with the only difficult climb being a unipuerto. But I guess the field is a bit too stacked for him to go top 5.Bernal, Hayter and Thomas. Ineos following their registered nation in being the 'sick man of europe'

Plapp will have a limited season - Catalunya, Romandie, one or two of the Nordic tours and the Worlds - No GT and no one day races.
third*Great field, I really love this startlist. Especially excited how my new must-support-rider Carapaz will do in his first race of the season...
At this point in my life, that's all I can handle. I want to thank the organizers for their continued support.a less than 1 km climb at less than 5 percent?
I see that more for the strong sprinters
Why?
Can't be sure of that with EFSo now we will finally get to see Carapaz riding for EF
The amount of colours in one outfit and bike...
The 2023 Volta a Catalunya will have bonus seconds in 14 sprints
To scratch his back. Why does he have a small arm attached to his helmet?
Can Remco win every stage?
Can Remco win every stage?
Really, isnt this as good as it gets for Catalunya? Looks pretty interesting to me, the finishes are quite different and theres only one pure sprinter stage. Better than T-A and P-N when you dont have to tune in on 3 stages. At this point in my life, that's all I can handle. I want to thank the organizers for their continued support.
The design is questionable, but it's a great field.
Could still come down to the same thing, if Roglic wins 0....that Primoz doesn't...

Then again, Im probably an extremist when it comes to limiting pure sprinter stages
Yes, it's probably the best March route. You'll like what you'll find when you look the route up.Him dominating high mountains is over, but that doesnt mean he's not absolutely lethal in these kinda races since thats more of his natural element (kinda similar to Valverde).
Will be interesting in Catalunya. Need to actually check the route and the competition, but chances are he'll win that one as well given how that race is usually raced.
