Uijtdebroeks is far from a bad TT'er. Not an absolute worldbeater like Evenepoel, but far above average. In the juniors he was 6th at the WCC and 2nd at the ECC behind Segaert. He won the national TT ahead of Segaert. He also won the TT in Course de la Paix.As good as Cian already is in the mountains , he lacks what Remco already had as a junior .... huge time trial capability . But the guy is only 20 so he can develop in that field much as Remco has honed his sprinting skills .
Roglic quit the tour injured and was a week out decision if participating vs a perfect year long buildCan I have some of what you are smoking please ?
Yes, funny story actually. He was born in Belgium and both his parents are Belgian.Cian Uijtdebroeks is listed as Belgian ???
That's why I said "huge" time trial capabilities . The difference between someone obliterating the best at the WCC and someone who finished 6th is several minutes ... that's a huge gap to overcome . But I am very excited to see Cian's development in the coming years ...Uijtdebroeks is far from a bad TT'er. Not an absolute worldbeater like Evenepoel, but far above average. Of course that is true, he started the season two weeks ago, but remco deserved the win. He was strong, he had merit. It’s quite clear Roglic is surviving at this form. He’s not the most attacking rider ever but he dropped Remco in the Veulta after an injury lol.
Every rider has a different evolution. Cian could be better than remco with 25 years, or not. We never know what will happen in the future. Some riders improve with a young age, other riders improve more later. As good as Cian already is in the mountains , he lacks what Remco already had as a junior .... huge time trial capability . No one’s ripping Remco for his efforts. They wanted Roglic to suddenly turn into bottom of the climb 2013 Quintana lold

20 year old Remco won every stage race he rode so I reckon not too far.Regarding Uijtdebroeks, who just turned 20, consider how far behind Remco on today's stage the 20-year-old version of Remco would have finished.

Remco fans get annoyed when other riders have the audacity to actually try and beat him, rather than play perfectly to his strengths so he has the best chance of beating them
who has though? Haven’t seen a single post claiming thatNah.
But anyone who suggests that Rog has been an exciting racer this season (despite the wins) has got to be kidding.
now on same time, Roglic leads Evenepoel 5 to 6 in aggregated stage results, by the way. So unless they go for the bonus sprint tomorrow, whoever finishes ahead gets the leaders jersey
Nah.

Obviously people will say i'm only saying this because it suits Evenepoel, but when there is an actual timegap i feel it should take priority over boniseconds.now on same time, Roglic leads Evenepoel 5 to 6 in aggregated stage results, by the way. What did Gino Mäder do to deserve it thoughBecause Roglic is known to gift wins to riders he believes deserve it. Just ask Gino Mäder.
