But Roglic wasn't positioned perfectly either (too far in the front too early) so I don't think he has too much to complain about.

Impressed by Van Gils this season. Dude has been so consistent, came from pretty far in that last km. Rode MSR 2 days ago.

Roglic looked to hit the front a bit too early, but he played it smart. Evenepoel's sprint doesn't surprise me, he has a pretty similar physique to Roglic so he should be able to do this as well.

Itzulia is without Roglic, Pogacar and Remco.

That's honestly the most important thing if you want to win a hilly one-week race and Mas has shown that he has a very good level not just in mountain top finishes.
