You can watch the Remco's video on tiktok, his FTP must be in the same range (maybe higher), he did his zone 2 training ("onder verdrempel") (meaning a IF around 0,8) for 6h at around 340 W, and he weights approximately 63kg, i'll let you do the calculations since you seem to like it.

you are guessing what his FTP is and how can you know how he determines the zones, and I Pog know that it is 431, so I am 100% sure and you are guessing, that is the difference

Evenepoel's FTP during his 2nd junior year was already above 400W, according to his trainer Fred Vandervennet, at 60kgs. In 2019 he did an FTP labtest where he pushed 450w (which i assumed was over 20 minutes) meaning he would have had an FTP of 427 back in summer 2019, but he was heavier then as well, iirc around 64kg.

But numbers are just numbers and FTP doesn't paint the entire picture.

Weather seems to be good today but some rain in the area Tuesday, Friday and over the weekend according to a weather report.
Little lumpy today (Monday) with a descent and uphill finish (according to PCS). Seems like most of guys doing the Giro are here, but today should just be a warming up day (unless certain guys have itchy legs). Young Riccitello is here for Israel PT so it'll be interesting to see how he does.

We have Almida and Soler to bicker with each other, we have Jay vine crashing every stage, we have Landismo, we have quintana at Movistar with about 4 other leaders , we have gerant Thomas finishing 70th, we have breakaways with ander okamika and his Basque mates who own a decent bike every day, and we have of course the proof of the prophecy of mou. Which km of each stage will Pogacar attack, and how many minutes will be the gap?

I would think everyone expects him to win all mountain stages anyway, and with a significant margin. Even with last years shape, he'd take the GC by a couple of minutes.

For anyone to be shocked, 2nd place would need to finish 10 minutes behind.

Last year this finish was barely won by Roglic, followed by Evenepoel. So I would assume Pogacar might take this.
