Just watched the profile closely and it's kinda brutal. Up and down all the time, a mini version of Liege. Teddy could actually attack on Sant Grau (but he may opt to keep his powder dry for two upcoming w/kg tests).

Last year this finish was barely won by Roglic, followed by Evenepoel. So I would assume Pogacar might take this.
I wouldn't normally think he has the same speed as those two, but who knows...

Hayter crashed in Nokere last week, van den Berg's shape is unsure after his concussion and Coquard said it's likely to be too hard for him (last year it was). So Laurance may be the quickest sprinter left who is able to handle this, and then we have puncheurs like Williams, van Gils, Godon, Schelling and so on. Pogacar can outsprint those, I guess

There is a 2nd category 20 km from the finish line, it would be strange if Pogacar don't get a gap there.

you never know with Pogacar, of course, but that climb really looks too easy to me to force a siginificant selection.

Agreed. Why waste energy for a few seconds when there are much better suited stages ahead. But we'll see.

I agree with you because the next two stages are hard MTF's but the UAE train is already going in front keeping the breakaway on a very short leash.

They are now on the same roads as the last 15ish km of the stage.

I would get dizzy with all those turns. Very technical.
