Cant compare editions like that. Why? Remco was second here last year, 6 seconds after the winner. Landa lost 3:41.
Landa is a better climber.

Was, the race is over nowGuillaume martin is in this race?
Gerant Thomas is still on the course fighting for a top 100!Was, the race is over now
Yup, almost crashed into Pog on the penultimate lap.Guillaume martin is in this race?
Sorry, I felt nostalgic. Feel free to call Nibali an overmemed luck merchant.
What do you think the gap will be between Evenepoel and Landa in Itzulia? Why? Remco was second here last year, 6 seconds after the winner. Landa lost 3:41.
3:35 obviously, can't you math? What do you think the gap will be between Evenepoel and Landa in Itzulia?
Wait, what? Third place? He will not finish in the top5.He is so back.
Should go to the Tour. He has a great shot at finishing 3rd.
We will see, just saying he has shot at it. Top 5 would be great as well.Wait, what? Third place? He will not finish in the top5.
No. Delio Rodríguez won 5 in 1941.Four stage wins in the Vuelta a Catalunya. Could this be a record?
What terms are needed for a little bet?3:35 obviously, can't you math?
Jonas wins another TdF, nothing to cheering for. Jonas has won TdF before. The question has been asked if what Pog is doing this season is extraordinary in the context of his previous seasons. I think...not totally clear, but I had expected the opposition to step up a bit.
But they didn't. There were 1.5 good climbers in this race who lived up to their billing (Landa/Bernal). Landa merely rode at the level we've seen since...2014? Bernal is a bit of an exception because of his injury.
Where was GC Kuss? Where was Uijt-whatever? Almeida? Vlasov? Mas? Lenny? Yeah, they all had their moments, but I expected a jump in form from at least one of them. They were dropping 3 minutes to Pog on stages that frankly weren't that hard (maybe stage 6 but at least the weather was pretty decent).
I think Eddy himself has said so too, no? Maybe not with alitteration but stillTeddy > Eddy
He knows who is the real deal.I think Eddy himself has said so too, no? Maybe not with alitteration but still![]()
I think this is true for every commentator though that they'll be biased in favour of their fellow country riders? It's part of how commenting works in every sport I think. It's just that English happens to be an international language and many listens to it so it's going to be obvious for more people.Would be nice if Anglosphere media realised how ridiculously blinkered every non-Anglosphere viewer knows them to be.
Very true. Norwegian TDF broadcast has been unbearable at times.I think this is true for every commentator though that they'll be biased in favour of their fellow country riders? Same for my country. It's funny, but I think the majority of viewers would be really mad if they didn't do it.Very true. Norwegian TDF broadcast has been unbearable at times.
Yeah, considering the huge discrepancy between the number of people who actually follow cycling and the massive casual TDF audience in Norway, this is very understandable and the broadcaster wouldn't really be doing their job if they didn't put a big focus on Hushovd, EBH etc. It might have tapered off a bit now, but especially in the 2010s the Norwegian TDF audience was massive. And most of them didn't know that Paris-Roubaix or Giro d'Italia even existed.Same for my country. It's funny, but I think the majority of viewers would be really mad if they didn't do it.And something has to keep new viewers when they first tune in
