You think he should have attacked there? It was still only a couple of days after his crash when he was at his weakest in the race.Bergamo?
Damn again haha. I hear TH in my Belgian dialect. Not used to write in English. Especially abbreviations.
I’ll leave it. Looks good to me 😁

No he wasn't. He wasn't attacking a single time. Just was doing his normal uphill sprints. He was the most aggressive GC rider in the race. And he won it the way he rode it, despite clearly suffering from the mid-race crash.
There was not a single stage where he didn't attack but should have.
Attacked on stages 8, 18 and 19. Thomas attacked only on stages 16 and 19, and Almeida only on stage 16.No he wasn't. He wasn't attacking a single time. Just was doing his normal uphill sprints.
There is also Dauphiné 2024. There are more examples than just Giro 2023.
Stage 19 was an attack in the last km.Attacked on stages 8, 18 and 19. Thomas attacked only on stages 16 and 19, and Almeida only on stage 16.
Those are factually incorrect statements.Stage 19 was an attack in the last km.
Stage 8 was an attack in the last km of the last climb. This is vintage Roglic with his vintage uphill sprint.
Yeah he has it also spelled like me.Sorry, I thought it was Van Eetvelt's own mistake. I'vee seen multiple Belgian and Dutch riders do similar things in writing, so you're not alone.
No, they are not. In stage 19 Roglic attacked around the 1 km mark IIRC and then Thomas counterattacked. Those are factually incorrect statements.
I don't think he would have been more likely to win those races if he attacked where exactly? No he wasn't. He wasn't attacking a single time. Just was doing his normal uphill sprints.
There is also Dauphiné 2024. There are more examples than just Giro 2023.

Bergamo Alto rarely see splits among the best riders, so he would have needed to attack Roncola.
I agree and disagree. When he isn’t out of form (Dauphine 2024, etc) or recovering from a crash (Giro 2023), he is fairly aggressive. He was very aggressive for example in 2023 Vuelta (put the sword to Remco and took him out of the race), 2024 Vuelta, here. 2020 Tour is the main race where he screwed up. If he’d been aggressive, I think he could have won.Roglic showing himself he should attack more often.
Great final stage. It was very interesting, it didn't compensate how dreadful the rest of the race was but still a great final stage.
That's pretty true. The rest of the race was really not that bad. We had an all-time great stage finish on stage 1 and a fine finish on Montserrat where two rider were just very evenly matched as they also showed the day before. Stage 6 was of course not good but that was on account of the weather.
If he would have won that Tour, he could have been the first to win the 10 major tours. He could at least have 2 more, crashed out PN and Dauphine in the leaders jersey. Time to win Swiss now to have all great 7 one week races.
The less you like Roglic, the less the feat seems.People talk like winning all one week stage races is a huge feat. It isn't... even if no one has ever made it. I don't think even think any multiple TdF winner has ever raced all races.
