You missed the point. How many TdF winners raced (in their best years) all one week stage races? The less you like Roglic, the less the feat seems.

If no one has ever tried to do it, how is this a huge feat? Not even Roglic cares about that. Not many, I guess.
Roglic never rode all one week stage races either.
And I think I got the point.

A third Dauphiné would be a greater feat than Tour de Suisse.

Because Dauphiné is the greatest one-week stage race and I rate the record in that higher than the contrived Gotta Catch 'Em All.Why?
You didn't play Pokémon correctly then.Because Dauphiné is the greatest one-week stage race and I rate the record in that higher than the contrived Gotta Catch 'Em All.
Difference is that Flèche is the least prestigious of the three (both now and then), whereas Dauphiné is like Liège to Suisse's Amstel.I remember Rebellin more for having done the Ardennes triple than winning a then record tying third FW. I also don't rate Dauphiné that highly. I mean Moreau and Valverde both won it twice.

Twenty years ago, Suisse was the fourth biggest stage race.Difference is that Flèche is the least prestigious of the three (both now and then), whereas Dauphiné is like Liège to Suisse's Amstel.
There's two aspects. The difference in prestige between an ordinary victory of the two races and then the difference in prestige between the two particular achievements (regardless of what triggered it). While you can say that the shared record is unimportant (granted), I still don't think that makes up for the difference in inherent prestige of the two races.Naturally, nothing will beat Itzulia in my book. But no matter what, doing something impressive than no one has done before will be a greater accomplishment than equaling the record in Dauphiné.
It would obviously come with an asterisk, because a) it's not something that anyone has really targeted before and b) other stage races have been seen as important over the years.
Suisse needs to move to the same week as the Dauphine.Twenty years ago, Suisse was the fourth biggest stage race.
But it's true that these days, the start list quality isn't exactly trending upwards.
Tuesday to Wednesday would also help.Suisse needs to move to the same week as the Dauphine.
Actually Gloag said in a podcast a few months ago that Roglič couldn't even walk down the stairs. Also his coach said he didn't really believe he could still win the Giro after that crash. Plus he had covid. If he could attack on the Fossombrone stage, he could attack at Bergamo Alta (crash notwithstanding). But you're right, he did have his crash and was likely more affected by it than was ever communicated to us.
He could also have attacked the stage 1 TT a bit harder than he did![]()
Contador end Froome definitely rode all of them.People talk like winning all one week stage races is a huge feat. It isn't... even if no one has ever made it. I don't even think any multiple TdF winner has ever raced all races.

Evenepoel looked a lot more symptomatic than Roglic ever did during that Giro.He had covid too?
And it didn't destroy his life and career that he continued. If Remco had just known that...

I don't think so. Historically Tour de Suisse is a bigger race. Only in the last 25 years it's on the decline in terms of importancy. But also is the Dauphinée really the greatest one week race? I think PN is more important actually, both historically as recently. The Dauphinée is just something like the E3 is to RVV.A third Dauphiné would be a greater feat than Tour de Suisse.
So Roglic did score 400 points and Pederson 500 points today. LOL. Quite the same ...
