Looks like its going to be another Froome vs Quintana tour this year...there is a lot of work ahead for contador if he wants to win...
We know that Contador never miraculously improves his shape during the season, so if he isn't strong enough now, he'll be even further back at the Tour.

He was stronger last week !. This is just a one day dip.

Have you seen him last week?

You no damn well I am reffering to his last race.

He's just getting old. Deal with it. Ever since 2007, Contador has had me on the edge of the seat and screaming at the TV, you know, but when the writing's on the wall, it's time to accept it gracefully instead of making up one excuse for every day of the week.
Your logic is complete bollox !. Your logic equals Froome and Aru also finished !. Quintana has also not raced just like Froome, remember that.

Aru and Froome are a disillusion. Seems to be more predictable a Contador vs Quintana than Contador vs Froome on Tour

Maybe. But Froome has never been great at Catalunya. 7th in 2014, where he looked good heading into the Tour. Quite awful last year and we know how that turned out... If he improves to be on the podium at Romandie and climbs well at the Dauphine, he should be given the status of top favorite.

Yes, he only miraculously improves his shape after rest days.

Once Froome loses his internal fat he will start the egg beating and stem gazing...

Yep, Froome performing poorly in this race is definitely a historic indicator that he's got no chance in July.

Yeah, he was surprisingly good today. Will destroy everyone by minutes in TdF and probably take an Olympic medal as well (again).

Yes, how shocking someone improves after a rest day, it's almost as if they are more.... rested.

If yopu are peaking or after a period peaking a rest day is bad for you, but if you are getting shape after a rest day you are going to be much more strong.

Aru is doing just fine. He wants to win the tour and that's is objective. He will be a big danger come July. Froome definitely not in good form. But will always struggle against Bertie and Quintana who both are better climbers. Bertie seemed to do more of the chasing when TJ attacked and seems to have paid for it . But Bertie and Quintana both looking a level above Froome already. Porte cant last longer than a week so his performance has no impact for the tour. Sky look weak ,,,,,good :D
Aru's got no chance of winning the Tour this year unless a lot of riders crash out. His top form is still significantly below the top form of Quintana, Froome and Contador.

All these Froome v Contador fights are pointless

Quintana is stronger than last year when he would have won the Tour if there were one more MTF....He is the best climber now
It was only a matter of time before he started beatign the others and his time has come...He will win the Tour

Contador is not as strong as he used to be even though he tries hard
Froome will do his best in the fight with Quintana but without Porte his cushion will not be big enough for week three

How difficult is stage 7's Circuit de Montjuic?

They did the same circuit in the last stage of Catalunya in the last few years.

I suppose I could phrase that better... What are the chances of an attack that would really change the GC?

Yep. Contador is more rested than the rest after rest days.

He has been always very rested till 4 years ago. I am happpy all the best riders are the same rested now.

Contador is uo there in all the race he is, and he is the main favourite for Pais Vasco, but in the past he get this kind of races, some times very easy.

He is going to be second here wuth the best riders of the world, except Nibali and Valverde, so he must be happy...in le Tour there are some ITT better for him than for Quintana.

Kudos to DeGendt!!!! Some nice news for Belgium. Although I did feel a bit badly for Weening, he was out played. Narito looked very strong!
