It wasn't expected. Spanish TV announced extended coverage for Ancares, Cuitu Negru and Bola del Mundo only. I don't know if and why other broadcasters might have anounced something else.
What's RTVE broadcasting at the moment?

It was my understanding that RTVE had announced coverage would start at 1500 CET today as well.

Due to the fact that we're broke and can't be bothered to broadcast an hour of eventless cycling, broadcasting will start at 4. (16.00 CET)

That's what I thought.

Froome: "I like the atmosphere of La Vuelta"

Christopher FROOME (181) is happy in La Vuelta. "I like the atmosphere of La Vuelta a España more than the Tour de France. I like the Spanish culture and the attitude of the people. Spectators have many Spanish riders to encourage and they also encourage me. That helps me to keep my motivation high even though I'm a little tired", he said before the start.

Froome seems a decent, genuine guy. Therefore he should leave Sky asap.

Well that's a great improvement from receiving death threats isn't it.

I liked Antón's comments better: "I hope to do well again because I'm feeling great". Keep chasing that rainbow, Igor! You go, girl!

Not that I know. They are showing some paralympics in Teledeporte, which is the channel they use when they start at 1500 CET.

Agree. You have to work hard not to like Froome based on his interviews and on the bike exploits. Seems like a genuine guy.

Don't be too harsh on him. He must be tired from the Giro.

Meh Anton is doing okay, if he keeps going like this he might do a top 10.

When's the last time Anton got a top 10 in a GT? :p
