He went for the stage wins, collected points, was obviously enough, not that he chased KOM points on the intermediate climbs, if somebody wanted to go for the KOM jersey, there have been plenty of mountains and points out there to collect, nobody chased the jersey this year.
Clark got an opportunity from 1 break, and now he goes for it, chapeau for that, but we haven´t seen a moncoutie or Virenque in this race.

To be fair though, Clarke's picked this one up like Lloyd's or Garzelli's 2011 one - one key break then not really being challenged after that. I hope he does it, but I won't hold it in the same esteem as Wegmann's eight breakaways.

A competition of one guy. Not interested in it, I like the KoM of the Tour a lot more. Too bad they had no real mountains this year, but last year we had a great winner.

Watching the KoM battle is like watching Boonen beating the Schlecks at Paris-Roubaix.

Clarke just got the opportunity, and now he chasing it.

Regarding Purito, I think it´s obvious to everyone he been fighting for the overall gc, and to say he don´t deserve the KOM jersey and therefor the points he won by doing that, and then say he didn´t work for it?

Yes!!! I predict he wins by 3.5 minutes today. Contador and Valverde will have heavy legs, however Alberto will keep his 2nd place. Also I see Froome completely collapsing and falling out of top 10, thus enabling Roche to get into top 10 and saving his season. Gesink will get a big jump from 6th to 4th.
