Yup, an average climber who is 5th in La Vuelta, who's back from a very serious injury last year.18-Valve. (pithy) said:You can hate on the haters all you want, but at some point you will have to come to terms with the fact that he's become a very average climber over the years.

his results are better??Dekker_Tifosi said:In a much stronger field than 2009 when he was 'stronger' uphill and the competing field was much weaker...
But whatever. He is indeed climbing worse at the moment, but his results are better and there has been no time trial or serious climb yet. I say he's doing fine. He'll be back at his best next year then he's going to raise some eyebrows here.
A bookie can only be mad at a rider, for no reason, if he's making him lose money, right Mr. Hazuki?Ryo Hazuki said:always the injury excuses. the guy is always injured. what a useless pile of **** then to have in your team.

I didn't notice. About Gesink: Hesjedal won a GT so I can't see why Gesink can't under the right circunstances.Der Effe said:He was in a breakaway a few days ago.

Boom or Mollema?
Geraint Too Fast said:Breschel...
Miburo said:Oh yeah lol that makes sense. But is Breschel in good shape?
Hesjedal only got 5 seconds on Purito in the TTT, he didn't win it because of that. Purito was just worse than Hesjedal.Miburo said:Edit: Also the fact that there was a TTT in the giro, without that i think purito would have won it. A lot of "if" of course I know but still he was very lucky to win it.

Spanish twitter reports agree this stage won't be won by sprinter, but by a GC rider. They reckon Montjuic is really hard, plus important bonus seconds are on the line.Dekker_Tifosi said:Boom or Breschel. Such a sprint suits Breschel.
