If Bardet is at its best, or near it, he can't lose this. But the leaders may not give him a big margin.

4 minutes now.

Anton is not a problem for Froome. Even if he leads by 3 minutes at the end of today's stage, he will lose 4 on the time trial.

It's not the Sky way to leave anything to chance, so they'll close this down.

Chris Froome (Team Sky) announced during yesterday's press conference he was interested in the victory at Calar Alto: “Tomorrow is a good opportunity maybe for us to fight for the stage victory, so maybe it's not such a good day for the breakaway. I don't know the climb at all. I'll have to ask Alberto Contador about it. It's his training area, he knows it very well. But I imagine with it being the first very high mountain finish, we'll see a very aggressive race towards the final and certainly guys like Alberto Contador will want to try and make up time. I imagine Alberto will be very aggressive.”
Team Sky maintain the gap around 4'20" with 70km to go.

So Sky want the stage. Why didn't any of the reports mention Froome's quote about wanting the stage, I seen about three reports of the same quote about asking Contador, but none mentioned his first sentence. Anyway, wanting and getting are different things, I can see A. Yates launching an early attack when they start climbing.
