Will sky bots complain why Contador did not stop?
Very unlikely.
Contador's attack gets everyone off the hook for not waiting. Contador doesn't have to stop in that situation because he attacked ages before, and the peloton can't really wait either because Contador is threatening their top 10 positions. Win-win for everyone. Except Froome.

Contador's attack would have been amazing if the stage win had been in play, like this it's just really good.

Even if I were for the whole waiting thing (which I'm not), I still think that after waiting for Froome eleventy times in the last couple of months you kinda have to draw a line somewhere.

He would not have been allowed to go, if the favourites were fighting for a stage win. So incomparable situations

Contador the big winner today then

What should have been an awful attack may turn into a big time gainer because of Froome's issues leading to a period with nobody pushing on

Agree...they cannot neutralize 1-2 important stage or climbs every GT just because Froome cannot stay on his bike.

They're definitely not holding back, but the GC guys themselves are too ***** to pull themselves, and are just relying on their teammates, while Froome pushes himself too
