Movistar had 3 elements (Amador, Oliveira and Erviti) in a breakaway attempt in which Kwiatkowski was also present. Sky was obviously trying to keep MAL from entering while Movistar is either interested in the stage victory or preparing an attack.

Not possible unless there is something wrong with him - he's got his team with him and he would easily get across on the next Cat 3

And yet if you ook at the parcours you have to favour Fraile or Teuns who are more interesting

Well Pinot is two and a half minutes down and hasn't exactly looked spectacular so far. Letting that break go would be risky but not unheard of considering the brutal pace so far
