Dennis wins. No more climbing after intermediate 2
Actually, it's on the hilly part of the course, that Dennis has smashed everyone

That's compared to the earlier times of TT specialists. The guys on the road now are climbers
No... The hilly part of the course is from 1st to 2nd check, and Dennis is by far the fastest on that stretch

You don't understand. The part that favors Dennis is from the 2nd check onward because there's no climbing. If he's ahead after the 2nd check, he's going to win because if these climbers couldn't beat him until the 2nd check they won't beat him at the finish.

Hence my first post.
I fully understand. And I don't think that's particularly favourable to Dennis, since Dennis has been the fastest no matter the terrain.

But Valverde was supposed to beat Yates by 30 seconds? If not Valverde fanboy horde here I don't think anyone would care, but what can you do when they constantly overhype him to death  :p

I mean what perfect example again for the forum. Read some of the post saying that he and he are gonna gain and them are gonna loose time. I mean I am so new to the cycling world but this just shows that never judge a book by its cover.
