If Lopez and Quintana gets a gap to Yates, are they going to work together to take time on him?

That's the main question.

The main question is will Kruijswijk chase in that case, or leave it up to Yates

I think he will. Yates couldn't ask for a better superdom.

I'd send Fraile (for Astana) and Amador (for Movistar) in the break.
Both indeed are in the break :D
Smart move, indeed. Hoping for an attack from Lopez or Quintana BEFORE Monte Oiz. I think that's the only way to crack Yates.

Attacking before Monte Oiz seems like a great idea if the goal is to put yourself out of contention before Andorra.

Are the group 2 still the same five or so guys who chased the break initially? They must be completely *** once they reach the front.

Majka or Teuns - who else has the best shot?
Fraile too heavy I'm afraid, Zakarin and Mollema not in the best shape. Woods perhaps?

Pellizotti would be amusing, I'm amazed he's still riding.

I'm still hoping for a Quintana jump on the third last climb.

Amador would be there to guide him on the descends.

Don't you think the helicopter's a bit too high?
The day of Covadonga the helicopter scared some cows and they entered the road when there was a group of riders who had been dropped from the leaders group going through

So did all that leg-saving by Lotto-Jumbo yesterday have a purpose for today?

I'm guessing that the thinking is that the best way to protect SK on a stage that suits attacks in the steep stretches is to make a high enough pace, Sky-style, to make an attack unviable, but they are going to run out of km in which to tire the potential GC attackers at this rate.
