Imagine if Quintana loses the podium for 2 seconds...
Roglic dropped! But many days too late for his rivals
Overall, its definitely the best GT since Giro 2015 for me. Lots of great stages and lack of boring sprinter stage, there were basically only two on stage 3 and 4.What an absolutely brilliant ride by Pogacar. I missed most of the stage but it seems like it was pretty good. 40 kilometer solos by gc contenders are rather rare.
All in all this final week really gave me the giro 2015 vibes of not really a close race but good racing throughout
Well, I dont really feel bad for him tbh. I think him getting that time really hampered Valverde's chances of stage win these last few days in the mountain. Unfortunate cause it was obvious after the rest day that he ONCE AGAIN simply turned into a pretty mediocre climber.Quintana on the doomed 4th place.
I feel a little bad for him. He doesn't get enough credit for animating the races.
Level of competition was really mediocre this year. Not comparable to the Valverde-Contador-Froome-Purito years.
No one could challenge Roglic and I don´t think that he had a different/worse shape in the Giro. Quintana is done. Valverde still good but not a contender for the win in a GT. Pogacar is to young.
