  Not good, not terrible as the engineer said in the Netflix Series Chernobyl. It turned out it was not only terrible, but absolutely catastrophic. FDJ wont be that bad, maybe Gaudu can land a top-10, Küng an ITT-win and the rest of the guys can hunt for stages. Decent I guess.

  Max Poole continues to be an exciting prospect, and Pavel Bittner has showed how fast he is. Could win a stage in this field, but not many opportunities. Is Chris Hamilton good these days? Rest seems like pack fodder if Im being honest.

No Hindley, an absolutely shocker of a season from him. Apart from that, super strong team. Roglic the main man with Vlasov and Martinez in the wings and Lipo as a super dom in the mountains. Rest will have their work cut out.

  Very decent team for hunting stages. Teuns, Frigo, Bennett and Woods can win from a break I think, and Strong is a strong sprinter when it gets tough. Riccitello targets a top-10. Not bad at all from Isreal, this team is definitely no joke no more.

Of the really interesting teams (riders who I think will go in the OP and not confirmed) remains only Trek, Bahrain, EF, QS and Ineos to select their riders. We know QS will bring Landa and prolly not that much more of interest, same with Trek to some extent with Skjelmose (who I very much doubt can do well in this field anyways). Mostly curious of the teams of Bahrain, EF and Ineos who all have the capability of bringing some quite big hitters - namely Carapaz and Carlos Rodriguez. I very much expect Carapaz to go, but Carlos is a bit up in the air. Very much expect Tiberi as well, but doubt he can pull another Giro off atm and the field is a lot stronger. Buitrago could be quite interesting.

If De Gendt somehow manages to turn back time on that stage with 5000 verts finishing on Picón Blanco in this field and win, then he's an absolute legend!

Will be interesting to see what Riccitello can bring at age 22. Looks like his only other GT ride is the Giro last year? Pretty anonymous, he's done some much more interesting rides this year in the 1-week stage races.

Maybe low-key TT god Tejada can do something in the GC. But I'm starting to believe he's not actually a proper high-mountain climber.

Hopefully Fortunato is let loose. Two GTs doing Zubeldia impersonations in one season is a bit too much.

I really don't have much faith in the rest, despite the Vino option. He seems somewhat decent though, just nowhere near GT stage win kinda decent.
