I wonder if they are going to try to turn him into a GT guy at some point. He showed a bit of climbing form at the Dauphine for a guy of his weight and size and they historically like doing this kind of stuff. They also need some good Brit to get back some media attention in

I’d have thought he could be very well suited to the cobbled classics

If Primoz would be really fit to race, he could be the runaway favorite in the Vuelta, otherwise it would be an open race, with slight advantage going to those who raced and completed the the Giro over those who raced and completed the Tour.

I expect this will be the tour of the breakaways - Take out the 2 ITT's, I have 3 sprint stages ( possibly two more for durable starters, possibly 4 significant GC stages and the rest are for the breakaway. Teams need to bring versatile riders to achieve the most from this route. For me the Tour of Norway could be akey lead up race as their stage profiles are similar to a numbe rof stages at the Vuelta.

Yates and Almeida will work together until the road decides who is better. Everyone else will fight for themselves.

It will be wonderfull to watch, we are in for some good laughs.

In a fantasy world, what would be the most disfunctional team you could conjure up?
I just want everybody riding for themselves, no fetching water or doing pulls. Bonus points if they don't get along on a personal level aswell.
