Amazing Vingegaard. He made it clear that he is a level above all else.
Even tired, he's clearly the strongest overall in 3 week races, other than Pogacar.
Victory well deserved.


Great job by João Almeida. He's a fantastic domestique but he has a lot to learn and evolve if he ever wants to win a GT against proper opposition.

Pidcock punching above his weight. Bravo for podium.
Nice to see Kuss and Hindley back in great form.

In the end the best rider won. Very predictable outcome from the start.
Almeida is an excellent rider, perfect for one week tours, perfect domestique, and a brilliant GT rider, but clearly pales in comparison to the likes of Pogi, Vingo and I guess also Remco.

What is proper opposition? There is not a single rider in the peloton able to threat Pogacar or Vingegaard in a GT.
