Even if Teuns was stronger than Landa, I'm not sure Fuglsang wouldn't be able to match him.Landa choose well. Seems like he has free pass. Teuns would have won hadn't Landa attacked.
I think Landa is not noted for his sprinting prowess. A few years ago (2017, I think), he and Tejay VG got clear of the field and dueled to the end of a stage in the Giro. Landa got outsprinted by Tejay for the win. If it were down to Fuglsang and Landa for a sprint, I would probably go with Fuglsang.Who's the best sprinter of Fuglsang and Landa?
Or should I ask; who's the least terrible?
Boys and Girls.
I have an announcement to make
I have never
In my life
Seen such a beautiful route in a 5 day stage race.
Maybe, but only if the group was together at the bottom of that last muro, but I have a feeling Fuglsang would went on the big climb with or without Landa, and Teuns wouldn't be able to hold his wheel there.Landa choose well. Seems like he has free pass. Teuns would have won hadn't Landa attacked.
Of course, this gives some room for up and coming young riders to step up. Like Vanhoucke for Lotto Soudal, McNulty for UAE,As others have said a really nice route here, a pity only about 3 teams have bothered sending a decent team to the race.. everyone else going to Algarve/UAE which will likely be far less entertaining
He's attacking at the momentI have to love any rider named "Taco"

Gaps aren't measured between the last of one group and the first of the next group. How did they find 2 seconds between 2nd and 4th - A group of around 20 riders finished in a clump behind the winner.
