The last k reminded me of a cyclocross event. Super narrow and twisty.

In this kind of shape, Fuglsang should consider racing Omloop. I could see him doing some damage on Muur.

Just a silly mistake by Teuns really. If organizers were to be blamed for these sort of rider errors, then they should be blamed for every race error that a rider does.

Got to feel bad for Haig there... he saw Teuns take one corner beautifully, thought 'that's the wheel I need to follow', next corner followed him into the spectators

Really fun race this year, nice course and a decent spread of established stars and progressing youngsters looking to get a big result has combined to give very interesting watchable racing.

I would say he has had his share of bad luck in the first half of the 2010's, but since 2016 more situations have gone his way.

I think Bahrain are planning things. They're almost full force at the front of the peloton - apart from a guy in the break - while Astana has been whittled down to three man.
