A small representation of the dozens and dozens of local trees (holm oak? I didn't catch the name when commentator mentioned them) they rode past today - how charming and appropriate!

I actually think UNO-X will still, you dont? Swift is winning this for sure if not, no?

Think they have far better odds with Kristoff since hes the only semi major sprinter here. But if UNO-X dont I agree.
They should do I think, but for now apparently they aren't

I hope AHJ is mostly sitting on in the break and not working hard. He should have a decent upphill sprint (remember his stage win in Avenir) if the break makes it, but will be hard to beat a guy like Swift, so it makes more sense to try to make this another chance for Kristoff.

What a bizarre stage. Wagner and Petrolike are riding hard to bring back the break, while, UAE is encouraging them to slow doen.

With such a big break, Uno-X shouldn't hesitate too long before they help chase it down, even if the finish may be a bit harder than is comfortable for Sasha.

Maybe the finish is flatter than I thought, because from how it looks to me Q36.5 and Bora should believe Pidcock and Van Gils could beat Kristoff here.

How are they bullying. It's actually the two smallest teams in the race. Both of these teams should have been represented in the break.
Sivakov etc getting in the way, soler fake attacking? Is there really any need? Just let them get on with it, it's not like van gils/pidcock are within 10 secs of the win

Especially Q36.5 as Pidcock would advance to 2nd in GC if he came 3rd in the stage.

You miss the break so you rest today and make sure you are in the break tomorrow. You have cooked your riders for no reason and make tomorrow more difficult to do anything. These two teams manage to bring back just over a minute in 50kms.

yeah fine I'm not discussing that?, there was no reason for UAE to do what they were doing. It's not their problem. They are the biggest team in the race.

I dont get it and think its weak sauce, and woulda liked UNO-X dared to double down even with Johannessen there. But he might win but ill go with Swift. But Kristoff in a sprint here seems like a much safer thing nevertheless.
Well deserved fiasco when AHJ managed to not pay attention to Connor Swift and missed the right move. In a group like this Swift is the obvious guy you want to keep an eye on and go in the same moves as. Now they threw away the chance of another sprint win with Kristoff for this..
