Peak Purito 2012 Vuelta (that was his peak, right?) on this climb. He woulda grined Poels into dust!

Incredible performance by LLS. Im also pleasantly surprised by both Soler and Landa, they are very good already and ready for their first goals of the season - Catalunya for Soler and Tirreno for Landa. Movistar will be scary in Catalunya.

Yeah I remember thinking a year or two/three ago he was past his best and those days would be over. But last year and especially start of this season he seems to be totally back.

They probably ruined him a bit at Rabobank like all riders. It takes time to recover from that

LL Sanchez is on the form of his life right now. Also remember he's a very good time trailist so Froome won't be able to pull the kind of time on him he can on others in an ITT.

I'm also impressed with Soler. He's still young and learning. I agree Movistar is going to be very scary at Catalynia. They have the potential to sweep the podium with the likelyhood of sending Valverde, Soler and Quintana.

Astana's jerseys are a bit more teal or blue/green while Movistar's are a bit more of a true blue and a little darker.
Movistar changed colors because Movistar it's self is switching colors to their parent company Telefonica's colors which is the lighter blue and white. I do wish they would have kept the M in that green.

You mean the exactly one Person in this thread (Taxus) who is a known Landa fanboy and predicted his win? I guess if your taking your conclusions from one person hyping a rider every time you are reading through race threads you'll be disappointed very often. After all this is a forum full of fans excited to see their favouites perform and especially at the beginning of the season no one knows what the exact condition of a certain rider is. So let us have our discussions while you can count how often we hyped and backed the wrong riders if that is your thing.
