EDIT: It seems like a lot of people around here actually believed Wellens would outperform Landa today......so.....

Froome puntured in a very bad moment, he did a good climb looking at the result.
I couldt see the final climb becouse the live stream failed, but it is impressive to see Landa second in a climb like this, He made something similar in Burgos las year, he was at the begining of that race much better than his rivals, but this is not a kind of climb for him. Of course today the long and hard stage with that long climb counts.
Wellens, nice for cycling to have people with his quality and actitude.
GC is open, with some good trialist in just a few seconds, but Wellens in this good shape should keep the jersey.

me too, especially with a cobbles section, where Wellens did most damage.

Wellens' performance on Thursday was a bigger surprise than today's. Today's wasn't really that special. He needed to survive the first 800m and he did. The last cobbled section suited him better than Landa, who did great imo.

Very nice finish. While I hoped Landa would win it, you can't really be unhappy when a great and super likeable rider like Wellens wins.

Yeah, this stage was really good for Wellens. No surprise that he won today. GC looks like Wellens vs Sanchez with Poels as the outsider.

Agreed that Sanchez could still win it in the ITT. Soler appears to have had another good day as well.

I agree with Valv.Piti that you can't help but be happy when a very likeable rider like Wellens wins.
