The conventional side from the Vuelta a Burgos is to do this side as far as El Collado:

Then a brief descent before doing the last 8km of this side:

From the arrow for the junction for Quintanar de la Sierra. It is basically 8km at 7,5%, but that doesn't adequately state the difficulty as it would suggest it's like Verbier or something; Neila is a very inconsistent climb so there are some really tough sections.
