Poor TV direction. They have a way back for the motos from 3km to the finish to the right hand turn before the bridge 3km from the start. And they're using the heli for the start, so we don't get images from the 'mountain' part of the MTTT until they get to the fixed camera at the last turn.

That was a bit of a train wreck from Jumbo with two guys clearly not dropping according to plan.

But that's still enough to lead by half a minute. It's not unbeatable though but unlikely because of the quality of the opponents.

Yeah if they win with 10 seconds to UAE and Movistar it is worse than what we should expect from the startlist.

Don't know how you come to this conclusion from my statement.

Looks to me like they played it perfectly. That's a big gap on such a short TTT.

Meh fair enough, hadn't really checked who was part of the team outside of Vlasov and Kämna. Still probably take Fabbro and Lührs above Palzer for a 3 minute punch.

It's a bit strange to have George Bennett as your 4th rider, he's not exactly known as a great TTT rider. Even if there's a climb at the end, he's already blown up beforehand (as we've seen today).
