Vuelta a Burgos 2025 (August 5-9)

Sep 20, 2017

The supposed main Vuelta prep event, although there are rather few Vuelta GC riders on the startlist this time round. That being said, this should still be a fairly entertaining race.

Broadcast availability is unfortunately rather geographically constrained this time round. Legal options exist in Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Czechia, Slovakia, the US, Canada and Australia. For VPN users, you can find the Spanish livestream here. Broadcasts should start at 3pm each day.

Stage 5: Cillar de Silos - Lagunas de Neila (139.0k)
The classic final showdown. With the lack of a major GC stage in the prior days, the stage winner has a very good chance of winning the overall.

Looking forward to see how Landa and Hindley are going to do, first race back for them.
Apart from that bit of a meh startlist. Already starting to get tired of Del Toro if he also wins this one.

Del Toro seemed to hit the front too early, stop, miss the move of Adria, panic a bit then fall off and take out Ciccone within the space of about 20 seconds.
