I think I may have made myself misunderstood. Obviously nationality matters. What I meant was that if Wozniacki is (in your eyes) effectively Polish, than that's that... Victory for Poland etc., and the fact that she flies a Danish flag of convenience is essentially irrelevant.

In team sports, like football, flags of convenience (whenever they exist) matter a lot, because of national team eligibility and such.

Good point. That would be good to submit to them (or Eurosport or any other channel) next time they ask the audience to submit twitter/email questions to be answered live.
