Footon's off

And yes, it is Lippens and Timmerman. Anyone knows how good they are?

I dont know. Here people still salivate at the idea of a enlish person, i mean British person, winning a Grand slam. they are so desperate even a Scotsman will do:p

Kind of like you guys like Gesink, Mollema etc. Does it matter that it is in many ways an individual sport?

I think I may have made myself misunderstood. Obviously nationality matters. What I meant was that if Wozniacki is (in your eyes) effectively Polish, than that's that... Victory for Poland etc., and the fact that she flies a Danish flag of convenience is essentially irrelevant.

In team sports, like football, flags of convenience (whenever they exist) matter a lot, because of national team eligibility and such.

Nope.

to paraphrase michael "she is not a fellow countrywoman she is not a comrade, she is nothing to me" :p

This nighttime TTT is cool-looking. Glad to see something different for a change, although I feel for the riders having to wait around all day and start so late.

Good point. That would be good to submit to them (or Eurosport or any other channel) next time they ask the audience to submit twitter/email questions to be answered live. :D

As beautiful as it all is, shame to see a bull fighting ring. Lets hope andalucia can follow in catalunias footsteps and banish this barbaric sport.

+1. The only thing taking away from this great spectacle is knowing that thing will be on camera a lot tonight.

Please let not start to make this a bullfighting thread. I guess I would be the only person defending it :p

But really I would like to see more evening prologues, it looks amazing
