Katusha and Rabobank are currently at the front on the Alto de Tenebredo. Seems like a steady pace, but nothing spectacular. Still a large peleton, with the occasional rider going off at the back. The leaders are 5:20 away.

EDIT: they went over the top while I was typing, nice decent.

I get "video could not be found" at ITV: is it because it hasn't started yet, or because I'm outside the UK?

When was the last time we saw a rider placed 2nd on GC after 14 stages getting dropped early without a single teammate giving a ****? Oh well, when he's struggling already he will probably fall out of the top 20 anyway.

Froome already in trouble!!!!

If I'm not mistaken then Froome also got dropped on the penultimate climb yesterday? And then he owned on the last climb.

It's one they regularly use on the way back into Oviedo in the Vuelta a Asturias. Nice area.

He'll come back in the downhill, he dropped very close to the summit.
Maybe he can recuperate and do well on the final climbs...if not, he's going to lose gazillions of time

Doesn't make sense, not as if the remaining Sky riders are going to be any help to Wiggins on the Angliru, if Froome can't they can't too.

Delgado - The guy that stole the 1986 Vuelta from Robert Millar
Blame the mercenaries, not Delgado himself. Also it was 1985. Also for god's sake, it was 26 years ago and people keep bringing it up.

Funny indeed. The downhill before the last climb (Angliru) can be a big surprise (narrow and technical)...

Nibali territory????? Can he take a teammate or 2 with him???
IT IS GOING TO BE GREAT FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

For people with a Dutch IP, the NOS is already streaming live images at http://nos.nl/dossier/221263-wielrennen-vuelta-2011/tab/230/live/wmv/. (That's the WMV-link as I run Linux and can't play the Silverlight-stream). No commentary until 1600, I think.

I don't know if it's being link-hosted anywhere without the geographical viewing barrier up.

Thanks for reminding me of one of the rare occasions when a having a Dutch IP is an advantage!;)

It's also kind of nice for a brief change to listen to the sounds of the rotor blades, the motorbikes and the wind....

There was definitely one guy in traditional Sky garb in the group towards the top of the penultimate climb. No prizes for guessing who.
