12 guys within 2 minutes. Pretty much what I expected. Not the monster gaps of the past. Bigger than normal, but not huge. If there was no super Cobo the gaps would even be ridicolously small
If you're gonna take Cobo out then take Heras and Contador out... the gaps were smaller than other years, true, and riders look to be very even in this Vuelta, but this climb has still created more gaps than any other MTF, in fact at least twice as many as all MTFs except for yesterday.
And let's not forget this was the shortest stage of all 5 Angliru stages, and the one with less climbs.
